    Description

Discover the magical city of Marrakesh, experience the souks and sights on a full-day sightseeing tour, and learn the “Red City’s” impressive history along the way.  Second day holds an adventure in store as you embark on a quad tour before returning to Marrakesh for lunch and head back to Agadir.

Visit the famous Jemaa el Fna Square, where you will discover a world of mysterious bazaars and a magical circus where fortune tellers, henna artists, fire eaters, snake charmers, dancing costumed monkeys, musicians and acrobats all call home.

Stop by the Jardin Majorelle, a botanical garden of cactus and other rare plants on over two acres in the heart of Marrakesh, as well as a museum of Berber culture.  Named after its founder, the French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886-1962 ), the gardens were owned by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé between 1980 and 2008.

Visit the Koutoubia mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in the western Muslim world. Marvel at its 225-foot-tall minaret before going to the Ben Youssef Madrassa, founded in the 14th century, it is the largest Koranic University in the Maghreb.  Rebuilt in 1565 , under the orders of Sultan Abdullah Al Ghalib Saadian dynasty, it houses a pool and a prayer room, richly decorated with floral motifs.

On to the Bahia Palace, best known for its rich architecture. Its construction is comparatively recent, in 19th century, and was inspired by Arabic and Andalusian styles.

Take a break in the Menara Gardens, the largest city olive grove in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
