Description
Drive towards Skoura oasis where you will visit Amridil Kasbah to learn about how Kasbahs are built, the daily life of the Berbers and local history.
This day trip is mainly for photographers and those who like to see the contrast of color, changing landscapes and Kasbah ruins. We will stop in Kela’a M’gouna to drink Berber tea with the locals. The Rose Valley is located between the ranges of the High Atlas Mountains and Djebel Saghro. After Skoura palm grove you will arrive to Kelaa M’Gouna, where the Rose Festival takes place every first weekend of May. The path of the Rose Valley starts here and leads us to Berber villages and Ait Youl, which is known for an abandoned Kasbah. We will proceed on to Dades Gorges, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. We will return to Ouarzazate via Dades Valley and Boumalne Dades.
